With 1.25 or 1.3" thick spacers you may have to grind down the wheel studs a tiny amount, depending on if they hit the back of your rims and prevent full flat friction between the spacer and your rims. Not everybody needs to do this, but if you need to and don't, your studs can fail and the wheel fall off.
