What did you do to your GMT today?

I spent the day puttering away on the Trailblazer. Cleaned the throttle body (which needed it badly) and my air intake filter. She is idling better now. Also ended up removing the washer fluid reservoir. I know that seems weird. The problem I was having with the aftermarket air intake is once I put the body lift on it didn't fit. So for now it's like it is in the photo. This won't work long term, especially offroad, but it will work for around town on my 3 mile commute to work and occasional Costco run. Think I'm going to fab up something new, perhaps a snorkel.

Also took time to adjust and install my Radflo's. Now the rig sits nice and level for the most part. Gotta say, air-tools make life great!

I have the same tire carrier that I need to modify to drop down. Right now I have to remove it every time I want to lift my gate or tow my trailer.

Looks interesting Mike. What's the thread diameter on those things? Stock is 14mm. Just curious what the increase in strength is.

There is a reason I have these and not the Rareparts HD tie rod ends. Sigh

They are posted in another thread here on the forums, but are outside of the price range most of you are willing to pay to play for the sake of toying around with something that may or may not work.

The 2500HD ones have been done, these haven't yet.

And as Robert pointed out, yup. :thumleft:

Apparently so are you,JK. :finger: I do have to admit that I am on your side of thinking to a point as far as paying more for some something that is known to last and is more reliable.
