Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

What did you do to your GMT today?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

I can understand the concept. And there is a lot of truth there. And I know very well what a book is. They're heavy and they cost a lot :P <---- I'm kidding.

Like 10-11 pairs. LOL The pants I'm wearing are $18. The double Tins can hit $200 with options. But with the $18 Walmart pants you just don't get the lofty and prestigious feeling that you get wearing $200 pants, made in the USA, with an awesome warranty.

WE ARE DISCUSSING PANTS in the maintenance thread!!! WTF :zombie:

:hijack:

Not to rub salt in your empty pockets, but let me just enlighten you with something found inside this thing called a book.

Captain Samuel Vimes 'Boots' theory of socioeconomic unfairness

“The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.

Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles.

But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet."

― Terry Pratchett, Men at Arms

I don't expect to many of you to grasp the concept. For future self reference I'll remember to to not mention brands again.

I understand it... makes sense even though I've spent lots of money on expensive boots as well. Back on topic

Just making sure, your pads and rotors are the same on each front corner, right?

I subconsciously decided that I needed a new rear bumper cover and backed into a fire hydrant last night. Now I got another reason to get steel rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier.... Not that I really needed a excuse. hahaha. Image

A yellow fire hydrant by the looks of it :poke:
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

Had a high pitch whine with rpm.. A little searching on ORTB and found issue. :) Replaced idler, tensioner and the serpentine belt. Got 69k on TB so does not hurt. Will keep old one as a spare just in case.

Ordered up a set of Skyjacker N8030 Nitrogen rear shocks cause I'm a copy cat. Well see how that plus the Skyjacker springs ride compared to the Z71's. :thumleft:
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

I only add stickers of places I've been or events I've attended. :finger: This way I can show my truck gets used and I'm not a poser, like most jeep owners in FL.
