Fixed my third door that my friend broke last night, 8 new spark plugs, cleaned the interior, and got a new valve stem installed on one rim. Than I bitched about needing another new P/S pump.

I was motivated by Bacon to clean the throttle body. It needed some attention as the truck had a sporadic hick up while at idle. Appears to be running better.

Drove it today for the first time in 3 weeks. The 6.2l V8 Nurburgring-tuned suspension monster has spoiled me. Truck ran rough, suspension was stiff, steering was loose, braking was soft but God have I missed my rig. Lol

Bought it used in 07 and with a 6 year loan that puts me at present time. Actually paid it off a little early.

I felt the steering to be stiff and the brakes to be soft yet firm after 3 days of driving a rented Corolla S. Acceleration felt much better though, and heightwise I felt like I was driving a lifted F-350.

Fixed all the cracks and broken portions on the grill and decided to try a new look. I like it. Also wet sanded and buffed the headlights.

This morning I also unplugged the EVO valve on my power steering as part of an "experiment." Also have a power steering cooler in the mail.

Replaced caliper guide pins and ripped boots, changed transfer case fluid & cleaned up a little in the back of the truck.

Pulled rear apart to find the new cover was wrong..so I cleaned and welded five pin holes so she won't leak...pulled the rear sway bar out.. New brakes,rotors and new axle seals...extended vent tube and finished by welding up the exhaust pipe where the resonator was...oh and got it aligned this morning... It ride and steers great now...will post a pic of the print out tomorrow ...

I just financed an 07 truck. I didn't have 23 grand lying around. Granted I'll pay it off in 24 months rather than the 60 the note is for. Still...

I can understand, but the hum and tread slap are fun cruising around. I am not sure these will even stay on for the rest of today since I think i need to tow on sunday and this is far from a good setup for that...

Yours probably don't induce death wobble at 40-50 like mine do. Interestingly the 36" IROKs are slightly taller than the 37s. Wasn't sure if you were aware of that.

I can not go over 40 or the steering literally scares me. Death wobble...yes sir I have it. Used tires, unbalanced, beadlocks. No big surprise. They are some big boys, but have always loved Iroks. One of the few swampers I never ran. I always liked the sound of swampers. Making me really consider some 35 LTB

switched out my mode control module in my HVAC system last night. now when its over 100 degrees my face might cool down a little and not just my feet

Replaced bolts in caliper that fell out on KY trip. And replaced the bolts in the diff with new ones, this time with some blue lock-tite.

swapped out the AC clutch bearing, replaced some interior lights, seam sealed the parts of the body I've cut up.
Realized the idler pulley is making a smidge of noise and now that the motor is largely quiet I noticed a rhythmic tick from the passenger side of the motor. I hear it real good when I listen next to the wheel well. I haven't taken the heat shield off the manifold to check it yet.

After my first trip camping and my new roof rack loaded down, I realized quickly how inadequate the stock crossbars are. So off to the hardware store I went, two 4'x1" square tubing, some 1/2 carriage bolts and some U-bolts later I have a much sturdier setup.
