Looks like you already know what we're going to say

If you cheap out and get Marks lift you'll find it gives you a cheap bushing to replace, it's $10. Can't go wrong there... cause you will end up replacing the bushings if you use the truck much. With that said I would echo what the rest have said, just get the radflos. They're more money, but the lift is adjustable, you can rebuild them if I remember correctly and the ride is significantly better. As it stands the bilstiens aren't really enough damping for the springs I have and the weight hanging on the front end. I don't imagine it'll be any better with bigger tires. If they were around when I lifted I would of probably just got them. Hell, I still consider getting them from time to time. I've driven a truck with the radflos and the difference is pretty surprising. Just save the money and get the radflos, it's worth it.

Marks 3" Hd struts up front and the Bilstiens that Donny mentioned. But to do it once do the Radflos.

Mine have been installed for 3.5yrs and look like James. I must have got some of the ones they accidentally made good also.

Maybe there is a connection. I'd be curious to know how old each of the ones that failed are. Mine where installed back in June or so I think.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

True. The added pressure by the spring can put extra stress on the mounts.

I have stock springs. Can they possibly be adding more pressure than those with 88's and 89s?

Not likely but others have bumped up their spring sizes as well... So it would not hurt to add that to the data collected. Having a little extra data for analyst doesn't hurt.

I might get kicked out of the room for this, but are you maybe over torquing the nut onto the bushing? I just know I am famous for over tightening things and it comming back to bite me later.

If it's assembled properly you can't really over tighten them. There is a metal sleeve that limits how far you can tighten the top strut nut.

ok got ya sorry, I was just going off my own (Captain Distructo) problems I have made for myself with other thing. I haven't done Struts as of yet so I wasn't sure if this was the case.

I think in some cases folks have problems by not tightening the nuts enough.
