Don't discount us yet. I've got it off, and I'm hoping Mike's boss will let him off when we get closer to the date and the boss realizes they still ain't moving offices. Otherwise I really may leave Mike home..... :D

Hope you guys can make it. Time's creeping up on us - I still need to figure out a new hoist system for the RTT in the new garage. As is - I have no way of getting it on the truck!

You need more local buddies and cold beer. That solves most problems anyway.

The same kind of set up Jeepers use to hoist up the hardtops would do good. 2 pullies and a hand winch should do it.

I had a hoist in the last garage that should work here, I'm more concerned with fitting through the new door, which is a few inches shorter than my last one...

too bad we have such an oddball pattern, James could get 4 short/skinny low-rider wheels to drive in with his RTT :-)

All jokes aside and not looking at your garage, would it be possible to mount an eye bolt in the eve of your garage, run your winch cable up through a pulley and winch it in the air and then ease under it?

Yeah, that's going to be my plan of attack once I get serious about mounting the hoist.

Chris, I don't think there's enough eve.

Your gearing looks like a tire size.

Darring, look in your glove box for one of these RPO codes
GU6 (3.42 gears), GT4 (3.73 gears), GT5 (4.10 gears)
Also check and see if you see G80 (locker).

We already got a convoy going. Couple guys from NY are meeting me local to you and I and we ride down from there. The details haven't been hacked out yet, but we will keep you in the loop.
