My previous vehicle was a 98 S10 Blazer 2 door 4X4 and I inherited my Trailblazer from my Grandfather. I'm very happy with my new vehicle, especially because it reminds me of my Grandfather, who has since deceased. The ride is different and the clearance is limited. I hope to make suspension and tires some of my first upgrades. I'm thinking about going with MarkMC's 2.5'' suspension lift with wheel spacers. Haven't settled on tires yet. Any suggestions would be great.
The big red TB gets me where I need and carries all my gear. I recently got a rocket box, which is one of my best investments in storage for my fishing rods. I like being able to carry 4 people comfortably with additional gear. I'm just a dude who likes to fish and hunt in the great northwest. This is the vehicle that gets me there. I also enjoy wrenching on the TB in the wee hours of the night with some single malt scotch and listening to bluegrass. Thank you offroadtb for fueling my appetite and providing a great basis for knowledge on these vehicles. :salut:

Welcome! Always glad to have another Oregonian!
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

Welcome! I lived in Beaverton from 1993-2000, then had to move down south for work. Always intended to retire back in Oregon, close enough to Portland to visit the culture and Powells Books, but not inside the Urban Growth Boundary for sure. Laphroaig rocks!
