Well not long ago I sold my 2010 Sierra 4x4 to look for a diesel. Haven't had much luck and winter is coming; Im from Canada.

I didn't want to rush into a truck that I wasn't 100% in love with so I figured I would pick up an SUV in the mean time.

I was looking to pick up something I could use for 6-12 months that could transport us on the highway in the winter without worry and had 4x4. Came across some good priced TB and Envoy and ended up with an 03 LS with 140k km (85k miles) in mint shape for $5500. Walked away with it for $4600.

Not many plans, it's already tinted and needs 0 work done. I am going to put Weathertech mats in it, de-badge the hatch, possibly demold, and Id like to level it out. Will get more advice on that later.

I will post some pictures after a wash and quick detail when its nice out.

Here is one of my 2010 Sierra I sold. Bought new, built to as you see.

Take care.

Going from the Sierra to the TB ... Gonna be a big change.

Welcome tho! What part of Canada are you from? Our summer cottage is 10 mins from the Ontario border in the 1000 islands region.

Thanks guys.

I am from Ottawa, ON. Hour or two from 1000 Islands area.

I am planning to get back into a FS truck next year so I don't want to put a ton of money into the TB. Wife might take it over when I get a truck but maybe not. I want to lift/level as much as possible without having to replace shocks/coils/etc. It's not something I want to put much money into (doesn't need it and just don't want to) but want it to have a nice stance.

Theoretically you can lift it to the max without replacing springs or shocks. You will however, want to "flip" your UCA's http://forums.offroadtb.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1136 If you care about the health of your ball joints. Welcome, Nice Truck.

As hobbit mentions, for the front there aren't really any longer shock options but if you lift the rear too much without getting longer shocks they will "top out".

For the ultimate in simplicity, an outside-the-strut top spacer would level you out, despite garnering disapproval from this crowd. No spring compressors required. Just unbolt the top two bolts on the perches, pull the knuckle assemblies down and insert spacers.

You can buy premade ones or make your own out of UHMW. Don't go bigger than about 3/4 inch (which will net you just over an inch of front-only lift). Too big (like the Readylift kit) will cause CV axle issues.

That little amount of lift won't need a UCA flip IMO.
