I've wheeled 35s hard on a 2" suspension lift and 88 front springs. 3" body lift is required. I'm now running 89 springs and a 3/4" top shim only. Same 35s, no rub.
The trick in the rear is longer control arms to move the tires back. You can't trim the rear doors.

Z71 Tahoe springs and a spacer in the rear work.
