Hello there. I have lurke around here for awhile now. I own a 2007 Trailblazer. Unfortunatly I'm too broke to mod my Trailblazer for offroad use now I'm enjoying looking at everything you guys are doing. Keep up the great work and maybe some day I will wind the lottery and be able to do my car up how I would like

Hey welcome to the forum. Just because you don't have cash flow doesn't mean you can't mod the TB. Take alook at some of our DIY mods that cost next to nothing. You can also check the classifieds on the forum and usually pick up at lift kit for hardly nothing.
Markmc 2.5 lift, 2"Markmc body lift. Markmc 1.5 spacers, 33" Dynapro MT's, exhaust, EMT cams, CAI, Chipped, Light Bar. T.L. Guards

Hi, Ben. As I remember, you weren't very supportive of the reasons behind the creation of GMTNation.com last December, and stayed behind for whatever purpose. Have you discovered that (as predicted) the community is GONE from trailvoy now, and there's no possibility of it being resurrected?

GMTNation is still a welcoming and open community, and there are still a few new members coming in every month who used to support trailvoy for whatever reason. Now they've seen the light, and are coming over. We don't ask that members declare their loyalty and quit posting on trailvoy - that would be an evil Vertical Scope sort of thing to do. But folks always wonder why somebody would support a profit-making operation that depends on unpaid volunteers, rather than an enthusiast-run non-profit site like ORTB and GMTN that are done purely for the love of the platform and the community? If your motivation is to help noobs, lead them to GMTN instead of giving them false hope that their questions are going to get answered at the ghost town that's left of trailvoy.

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone. Roadie it wasn't so much i wasn't supportive of the reason, i just felt the implementation of all the posts that i had a problem with. I visit all sites for info and try to help where I can. I still don't fault the owners for trying to make money, but also understand a peoples want for as few ads as possible.

There were some folks who acted with way too much enthusiasm like junior high school just ended early for the year with the school being condemned, I admit. :excited: There was actually a bit of moderation being applied even in our last days as staff, to tone down the celebration. You might not have seen all the posts we took down, and PMs we sent to the immoderate celebrants. :friday: :angry whip: We volunteers actually didn't anticipate the depth of the pent-up frustration with VS that the general membership had.

It wasn't 100% about the ads - just to set the impression straight: http://gmtnation.com/f5/welcome-gmtnati ... story-226/

But as I said - welcome to ORTB, and if you join up on GMTN you'll find the non-hard-core-offroading community that we used to have at trailvoy.

I don't think mine has been that clean since the day I drove it home, but I don't bother getting it clean just clean-er or clean-ish every now and then... :flex dirty:
