Hey guys, Glad to be here.

I previously had an 03 ext 2wd. (hand-me down from the parents). I loved the thing and put 181k on her.
Last week I got into a four car pile-up (not my fault)and let me tell you it saved me big time posting.php?mode=post&f=8&sid=2954d52149dd391ada3d222103b4816f# , not even a sore neck. So with the insurance money I'm getting me a blank canvas to build on.

Welcome Eric.
I hope with you posting here you are interested in offroading.
Since you haven't bought yet, a couple of things to think about, the EXT's and the V8s come with the stronger 8.6 rear end.
Also if you expect to go with larger tires it might be a good idea to get one with a lower gear ratio. You can find the RPO codes for the lower gears searching on here.

Here are a couple threads to read over to get started with.
