Hello everyone I finally created an account on here since I'd rather have more rubber than rim so to speak. My name is Bobby. Born and raised in northern Virginia about 30 minutes from DC. I've been on trailvoy for a couple years now but just started posting a "respectable amount" lately so I'm seeing a lot of familiar names (James, mark, roadie, fishsticks, etc) on here.

Might have to post some before and after pics on here as an official intro soon. I'm literally staring at one of markmc's 2.5" lifts right now just have to bite the bullet on the shocks and struts. Pretty sure I'm set on bilsteins on the front and bds's for the rear just have to buy them and put them on

Yeah that's why I am here. Not sure exactly what happened but I saw a bunch of talk about people not using trailvoy anymore. I raised a few subjects and got some input from a couple of people so hey I appreciate that much

I PM'ed a couple of guys on trailvoy today and subtly invited them to GMTN. They had some posts about issues either no one had responded to or hadn't responded with the right answers. I hate to see questions go unanswered.

There is so much information on this site, I rarely have anything to post. I generally just read. Planning more mods and a new trip first week of August to the Alpine Loop.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

hello Guy,

well sorry i have not posted much on here... i have been trying to read up on all i can befor i just start asking stupid questions.
my 2008 TB LS 4x4 so far has just a front brush guard, K&N filter and a 40ser Flowmaster. now what i have read so far im not sure what i want to do when it comes to a lift and shocks/struts. ok the ideas for my truck is a daily driver with a lift that can take the trail and HY. Tires that will see the mall more than the trail but yet will still do good on the trail. i have read about the Z71 springs and spacers and was thinking ill use them. when it comes to the front springs i have not read about any replacements yet.

well if i can get some help please.... thanks Lee

Well it's looking like I'm not going to another Trailblazer after all. Finally found a 5.3 and it belonged to a friend's wife. They were nice enough to let me test drive it. My main purpose for the TB was a DD/tow rig for my Zr2. I borrowed another friend's hauler and towed the Blazer. It wasn't bad, but once I got up to speed the weight was too much for the TB. It would do fine for local trips, but when I'm towing thousands of miles I just don't see the TB being a fun drive. I've decided to move to a Duramax for towing.

Hopefully you guys don't mind me hanging around. I am a previous TB owner and still have the Zr2 which spends plenty of time on trails.

just keep reading and eventually some new guy will post a question and you'll say to yourself "hey, I remember reading about that before" and you will be posting up the link to the problem.
