Sweet I'm down for whatever. I don't have snatch blocks or anything. It will be like a safety class for me. Seeing the correct way to extract.

We should have PLENTY of recovery equipment. I know that JD has a block, as do I. I'm sure we'll have at least 1 more.

If I knew this was going to be an extraction course, I'd have signed up! You'd have plenty of opportunity with my street tire rig. :)

I finally got the clearance from work. There was a big push for me to be in Taiwan, but I got out of it... whew.

I unfortunately could not get out of work so I'll either A) be trying to find you guys in the dark friday night or B) meeting you all some place early Saturday. I suspect it'll be option B

I'll have a set of sliders on the way as well, but I get the feeling I'm going to be hard pressed to get them on the truck before the end of the month. I've been thinking about buying a readywelder (http://www.readywelder.com/) but I suspect it'll be a bit before I have the skill to tackle that project myself.

I am just having my local fabrication shop make my sliders, stronger and for the same price as the ones like trail-gear sell. And it's gonna take like 4-5hrs.

Wait what is this google you speak of? ;)

It's not so much a case of finding any shop but finding the right one.

Which I suspect James has just pointed out for me. Thanks by the way they are not one of the names that came up in the first 10 or so I tried to find info on.

Put me back on the maybe list. I posted in troubleshooting. I was out this past weekend wheeling with our usual convoy and an idiot we didn't know try to get himself unstuck by ramming into my front bumper and now the 4 wheel doesn't work the transfer case locks the rear but not the front and there goes my savings trying to figure this fun time out. :( :wallbash:

Transfer case doesn't lock rear or front, it engages the front but our trucks are rwd all the time.
