It takes a bit of doing...

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=846

...but it's certainly possible. :thumleft:

I can't think of anyone else on here who actively wheels 35s on their 360...so I guess that makes my combo the best by default?

IMO in addition to the lifts involved, regearing the axles and upgrading the steering arms are required mods for any off road usage of 35s. You will also rub on the front side of the rear wheel wells unless you purchase some longer control arms. They only need to be about 3/4" longer though. My 1" longer arms actually make the rear tires rub the rear bumper when fully compressed.

Except that little matter of carnage. At least you're doing it with a bunch of buddies.

For my preference of more risky solo expeditions, I need a bit less risk in the drivetrain, so 33's are where I'll stop. Gas tank armor gives me a bit more peace of mind than an extra inch ground clearance. Totally a personal preference. YMMV.

And not to mention trimming of bumpers, wheel wells, and other items that may get in the way.

I just ordered my 35's, after tons of research, mainly from build threads from jamesdub, fishy, and the others in the tire size lift combo thread. I agree it is possible, but does require a significant amount of resources and funds. I'm my case, it isn't going to be a dd, if its going to be a dd, get ready to spend more on maintenance to keep it rolling. Also like fishy said, reagearing the diffs is almost a must, its possible to get away with 3.73 or higher, but expect it to struggle at times.

4.56 gear ratio is a must no question ask. I was thinking about c25r with BDS fox 2.0 (98224719 yukon ,tahoe) shocks for the rear, so ????

That will get you there suspension wise. To wheel it you're going to need a body lift as well. Even with both I can still rub the tops of the tires on the fender wells if I try.

I would love to upgrade to 35's in the future...but I feel like it wouldn't be the best idea considering I commute 30 minutes to school...I'll probably end up on 33's unless I make some room for a daily driver one day.

No bites on trades for my tires... and I've been too busy to actively market anything. Pulling everything out of it brought my mileage up a bit. Guess we'll see what happens.

Fishsticks' build lists pretty much everything, read it carefully.
He has links to many of his mods as well.

Anything you don't understand about his build just ask.

Reversing the UCAs, yes you need to if you want to get it aligned and keep the top ball joint in a decent angle.

I can fit 35s and have. I can mall crawl 36s and have.

Marks new kit with 88 springs and Bilstien HD up front. You will have to do 89s or find some used 88s because them and 87s cant be found...

Rear I have marks spacer. The 2 inch Japanese coils. 1/2 inch longer control arms. adjustable panhard bar. Shitty BDS shocks.
