Front Diff Problem?

I recently added the AWD sleeve to the disconnect. Now with both tires off the ground, in 4HI, tires rotate opposite of each other, but drive shaft doesn't move at all.

Sounds like a ring gear issue. Any noise?

Tires rotating opposite of each other, but front drive shaft sitting still is how it should be (ETA this is what the sider gears do, and what your axle shafts are doing when you're running down the road with a disconnect in the SD box, instead of a slug)... Just like when you're in Park with the rear jacked up, and you can spin the rear tires opposite of each other... The ring/pinion won't move unless they're both going the same direction...

The big question is: When you rotate the drive shaft by hand, does either front rotate?

Or better yet, if you have only 1 front tire off the ground, rotating (with the other one on the ground, sitting still), does the front drive shaft turn?

With driver side tire in the air, the drive shaft does "wiggle" with the tire.

It wiggles when you rotate the tire, or it rotates back and forth, and forward for more prolonged time with the tire? If it actually moves with the tire, you're fine...

That was a bad response. To clarify, driver side tire in the air, drive shaft rotates back and forth with the tire.
Now that I'm really thinking about it, it makes sense that its working right. I really need to start getting more sleep before playing with the truck.
