Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Confusion in purchasing a lift kit for trailblazer.

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Thanks everybody. I completally understand now. Best of all I can use the auto shops at school and me and the buddies can work on it for free.

I'm not sure the 3 inch body lift is back on the market yet.
Zone also only mentions their 2 inch for the 4.2L and not the v8s.

I can't recall if anyone with the V8 has done a body lift yet or not. Others will chime in I am sure.
Just thinking about it, I would expect the spacers and bolts are the same and likely the bumper brackets but you might have to adapt/build your own radiator brackets.

You might could be the picture child for the Zone Body lift for the V8 model!

I have installed a 3 in body lift on a v8. Actually used my zone 2 in rad brackets for perfect fit.

It was highvoltages ext.

Rad brackets are super simple and the 3 in ones coul be easily shortened to work.

The 3 in is close to available again. I was just chatting about its return this week
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

IIRC, while I was doing sliders and such at your house, Jeff had me cut and weld the rad brackets in some way, for the V8... I don't remember what, exactly, it was, though...

I do remember that he had me cut up the I6 ones, and weld them together in some other fashion... The powder coat stunk when it burned...

I think HighVoltage is heading that up now with parts sourced through MarkMC and BartonMD.
It sounds like it is close to being ready to market again.

Mark still has two suspension lifts but the body lift is being worked on by jeff.

So, there might be a new plan. The trailblazer my dad has has over 215K on it and im not going to invest in it. Ive been contacting people about different ones. Defiantly with the I6. So mark mc no longer has the body lift? and does he have the z71 springs and shocks for the rear?

Mark isn't the spring vendor. They're sold on Ebay by suspension modification shops who remove them from Tahoes mostly. Search Ebay for the part number 15234633 or 25978750, or for the description.

Mark only provides the suspension lift and the wheel spacers.
As Roadie mentioned the Z71 springs are on ebay.
The shocks are usually sourced online.

I thought so, Mark's lift needs to be updated on that thread.
