So I'm changing my oil today...

I've been using Mobil1 since the day after I brought the TB home and won't go less than 10k. If thet don't put sulfer into it anymore, what would it take to add some? Is it plain sulfer or a sulfer compound? Would it be as good or would it be easier buying a better oil?

Just use the Extended Performance, the T&SUV, or PP...

you folks got me looking at the Amsoil site.
Really if you go with the their extended mileage oil and filter it is likely cheaper than the more common brands.

If you go with their straight synthetic and a Wix filter it is in line with M1 and others.

I'm unsure what the cost is to a dealer but the dealer fee is so cheap it might be worth looking into.

If you don't want to pay the dealer fee I can give you or anyone for that matter the dealer price. The most costly is the signature series 0w30 at 8.15 per qt but with that I only change my oil once a year depending on analysis. So you might pay more up front but over the long run you save, I also never have to add or top off my oil and my throttle body is always very clean. Like I said I like it but that's just me, people have differant prefferances for differant reasons. Also you want to go with the Amsoil EA filters they are better.

My CBR1100XX gets 15-20k/year
My LeSabre gets 10-15k/year
My Dodge/Cummins gets 10k/year
The wife's TB gets 25-30k/year if she's working
The wife's new Cruze ECO is going to get most of those 30k that were on the TB...

No, but let me say, there is plenty of room to drain the oil into a 5 gallon bucket!
