P0014

Something not working right?

by mikepeters1983 » Tue Jul 12, 2011 1:40 pm

Hey I sort of a newbie when it comes to searching for some things on here, but I am throwing a P0014 code, I turn it off with the scangauge and I don't see it for a few days, I ain't noticed any loss of MPG, and the truck is still running strong minus the whining coming from my pump I think. Any help would be great right now. I am trying to get ride of the death wobble that I have, new tire rods ball joints upper and lower, Spline Disconnect, and new half shafts. So any help would be great. Thanks

Camshaft position actuator. It can cause rough idle, but in some cases the code will come and go with no effect on the vehicle. I have had to clear it a few times. I've found that keeping the oil fresh, throttle body cleaned, and air filter in check has eliminated it.

OK so got to clean the throttle body and air filter. Hopefully that will fix the problem. Thanks for the fast response.
