What areas will you be partying over? The same as Donny or higher up the doors?

Higher, will be going to the top of the molding on the doors, got some chipping paint on the rear doors just under the molding I want to cover up.

Looking forward to seeing that. Especially on your truck with it's color.

I worry about the blend line though in regards to how well this stuff will last in the elements.

Only time will tell. But I've read some good things, it may fade over the years but can be sprayed over with regular paint to freshen up.

Would be a hell of an opportune time to run a stencil pattern or lettering underneath the coating on the doors. :coffee2:

I'm hoping mine fades a bit....it's just a little too shiny for my tastes at this point. If it dulls down just a bit I'll be happy.

They also make a UV treatment that's supposed to shine it right back up if that's what you want.

DUDE! That is sick! I like how you did the mirror covers too. This just reinforces my need to do my truck.

Looks good! I put a dent in the upper part of my rear driver door recently. If I can't pop it out effectively I may have to go all the way up to the windows... lol.

Thanks guys! I've been getting a ton more looks and people asking about my truck in the last two days than ever before.

Haha yea, I had chipping paint on the rear doors halfway up to the trim and the trim/molding was peeling a bit too, so that fixes that, and the paint job I did on the mirrors to color match them was beat, so did those too! Also hit the rad skid.

Only used about 3/4" of the gallon and did two coats.

Very nice! Exactly what I have planned for mine. Should look sick with the Forest Green.

I like it! Especially since I never thought to hit the mirrors like that, too.

There's an Isuzu Vehicross around here that's done in Herculiner that attracted my attention so much I had to go look him up on their forum and contact him. Great look!

Thanks guys! And Donny, didn't mean to steal your thunder and hijack your thread. Haha, but now Herculiner pics will be easier to find!

Saw this on TrailVoy, Im sooo tempted to do this to my 02. The bumpers are shot after 8.5 years and 123k of daily driving, 8-10 800mi trips a summer through bugville/rockville, and of course getting beat up on the way to the mountains to ski all winter. I dont want to put the effort into repainting it, especially since I hardly drive it anymore but my parents use it as a work truck to throw crap in (lumber, furniture, etc) so I like the Herculiner idea.

Not sure if you guys have beaten it to death or not, why the preference to Herculiner? What about DupliColor Bed Armor (heard some bad things from some people) or LineX etc?
