Treadwright's really dropping the ball on ONLINE stock level

Yowza, so I realize that I could probably call and see what they could do, but the stock on the website stinks! Every tire is only available to order in a quantity of 1 or 0 right now. Not to mention that what I would really like is a 255/85 tire which they dont even offer.

For people that purchased Treadwrights, how long did the actual shipping take? 2-3 weeks for processing followed by another 3-5 days for shipping preperation, followed by another 7-10 days for shipping seems a bit ridiculous to me??? Rant over

I was able to order mine right on the website, but I know of a few guys that had the same website issue as you. Give them a call, my buddy had to wait a week so they could make the tires then they shipped. Took about 2 weeks total for him to get them. As for sizing, they make tires based on what size carcass is easily available, they dont want to start offering a size then not be able to get the carcass needed.

Give them a call and see what happens.

There are only a couple mud terrain tires in the 255/85 size, anyway, so they can't sell very many of them brand new, let alone the small market of retreads...

Just going off what the website has on it, that's why I wanted a little "Real World" experience. I understand that they probably want to be a little liberal with their estimates. I just dont want to order tires now and not get them until spring.

Agreed on the size issue. I have been going back and forth on the 255/85 vs. the 265/75. I am running 255/70's now and really like the width which has swayed me to stick with it, however 265's are a lot easier to come by. I'm also looking for an AT instead of an MT.

Seems like an un-informed post. No one on here has had issues with them. I think Regulators took a couple weeks, but I had him specify the BFG sidewalls because I know they are 3 ply and tough. Call them, many websites don't have real stock levels. I did plenty of research on these last year and did not hear any complaints on waiting for them.

There are plenty of sizes they don't offer people would like, but since you have not called and don't want what they offer, why say they dropped the ball? They provided you a service by showing pictures and prices and you did nothing to help them, but started a negative post on a company you never dealt with.

I agree with Kyle. I ordered mine, nobody else on here had them (that I'm aware of), so I had nothing to go off of for info. What did I do...research!! Turns out I had them ordered and at my door in less than two weeks. Don't be afraid to talk to reps from the company, it'll only help you in the linog run.

Kyle is exactly correct, it took 15 days from the day I paid the bill to them arriving on the door step. I did order a specific sidewall, which I am sure delayed the preparation time. Just give them a call and see what they have to tell you.

Don't go off the website, just use the site to pick a style then call them and see what they have. I called and asked for the tires I wanted and they had them sitting right there I paid over the phone they shipped next day and I had them on my truck in less then 4 days. You can't ask for matching sidewalls or carcuses as they call them unless you email or call anyway there just isn't an all matching button when ordering. If you are asking for one brand and only one model in that brand of carcuss then yeah be prepared to wait but at what it costs I really wouldn't complain about waiting that's just my .02 on that, But like I said with me all I wanted was all the sidewalls to match and that the original carcuses be from a m/s tire they had them right there.

They always send matching carcasses, if you order 4 tires you will get 4 matching, order 2 and you will get 2 matching. Unless you specify what carcass you want to use then yeah, be prepared to wait. I ordered mine right online, didnt specify which carcass I wanted and I got all 4 matching, I emailed them so I could get a matching 5th and I got a match.

i called them up and bought them on the 11th and had them at my door and mounted by the 18th. so far i love them

Not to beat a dead horse here since it's been a few days. But I fail to see how it was a negative uninformed post? I simply stated everything EXACTLY as it appears on their website and then asked for real world experiences? Saying they are dropping the ball about stock levels on their website is pretty justified if you are not able to use the website as intended to purchase tires.

Judging from all the positive people on here, it seems they all called and that could very well be why Treadwright has the website set-up that way. They may want the live customer interaction.

Personally, I think if they can't invest in staff to keep the website up and accurate, they should just admit it and say "You must call us to check inventory." I would say that the "ball" includes the web site, and I also would not phone if the web site implied no stock. A very personal decision that really doesn't need to be debated.

Um wow, so you're saying because the members told me that they do a great job I should believe them? Hmm, that seems like exactly why I asked about "Real World" experiences - not a negative point. And you're also basically saying that I should have just dis-regarded their website in the first place since it's not really their responsibility to have it up to date, and that it's my responsibility as a customer to call them, so I can feel privileged enough to give them my hard earned money.

So if one of the Mod's wants to change the title of the thread to "Treadwrights really dropping the ball with ONLINE stock levels" that would make you happy then? Because that would make this entire thread un-arguably accurate.

another thing, when i called around the 10th i was informed that they were also in the middle of moving to a new location and were a little behind on stock levels of the 265-75-16 which is why i chose to wait and stick with the stock size. so a big part of why their website stock is behind is because they are behind due to the move.
