Hey everyone. New hear from south bend, indiana. stumbled upon this site while doing some research on the 4wd spline disconnect issue. I've got a 2005 LS. Don't really have any plans for it offroad wise but will use this site for some minor suspension upgrades and tire advice in the near future!

Hey, I know you. :thumleft:

Everything functioning correctly for you still?

For everyone's clarification, I did the rebuild on his splined disconnect a few days ago. He had a bunch of extra parts and I suggested he join here and list them for sale, I figured this would be a better market then the OS.

I have already talked to him about it a bit, need to get it torn apart and see whats wrong. Its just a matter of syncing up our schedules and finding a few hours to work on it.

Unless it's a bearing or something wrong in Kyle's, he won't need any parts... I'm taking his SD gears to work and TIG welding them together...

I think intermittant engagement issues generally mean a crushed bearing. Or a bad fork... but either way it's just speculation.
