What are you talking about?!?!

He can fit at LEAST a 7" tall tire with a lift! Maybe even 7-1/2"!

You know, I feel a little lame now since I actually clicked on the link Mike posted and it only talks about tire size for unmodified trucks. :wallbash:

Personal experience: I have 4" of suspension lift, 32x10.5 tires, and 25mm offset wheels (like having 1" wheel spacers). My tires rubbed on the plastic liners when I still had them in front. They still rub on the rear liners. I don't have sway bars.

You could always go to the place you plan to buy the tires and ask them to try on different sizes to see what is the biggest that will fit with out rubbing.

We don't have a "ultimate tire size" thread because there are so many options and combinations for both tire size and lifts. With so many variables, a finite algorithm is nearly impossible. I recommend searching through the build threads to get an idea of what size you can use.

The other option is to measure the clearance you have currently to the closest part of the body of the vehicle, then mathematically figure out what you can fit... remember that width and diamater of the tire will play into this.

Good luck. And don't mind these guys, we don't like to spoon feed information that we feel is generally avaliable somewhere on this site.
