I've done all my negotiating and the dude wasn't having it, I did get him down a good bit though from his original price, only question is do I get these or hold off to find a better deal with wider tires?

They look a little bald... is that enough tread to last you a year?

Otherwise, I like em. I have the 255 KM1s right now.

Do the penny test. I bet they should be retired now. I would not spend that much for them, I would offer 50 bucks probably.

Pretty much... I'd be the guy selling them, right now, to tell you the truth...

Take full advertised tread depth minus wear bars, and that's your "new" life tread depth
Current depth to the wear bars is y0our current life tread depth

((New - current) / new) * 100 = % used

Cost of new tires (shipped) on Discount Tire (or TR) * % used (divided by 100 to get a 0.xx number) is the absolute most you should pay for them...

(17/32 - what? 3/32) / 17/32 = 82% used

$752 shipped for a new set, * .82 = $619 of life used

$752 - $619 = $133 left in them...

Add to that the fact that you've got to pay $60 to get them mounted, just like a brand new set, and I'd maybe pay $50 for the set...

I agree with the others. They look a little worn to me... Don't think they're worth $250. Just my opinion though.

Nope no wheels... you guys really think they're that worn, they appear to have quite decent tread left. And JD your wheels are KM1's.

From the looks of the pictures, I'd say they are no more than 8-9/32nds left. That's like 30-40% tread. Those would last a year at best and then you'll just have to replace them again. I'd get them, but I don't think I would put out any more than $150 for them.

One thing to keep in mind. Right now those have the same or less tread than a street tire. They have worn through much of there MT performance benefits at this point.

Yep, at this point, you'd be better off with some less than half used AT tires than those...

As long as your tires aren't bald, it's worth waiting for new. With the body lift going in within the next week, I've been looking around for used. Based on prices and condition, I realized it's best for the long term plan to get new. Maybe not big name, but good for the money new. Or at least retreads.

I know, that's what I said. I was referencing the width. 255 has worked well for me.

Been keeping my eye out for some good ones. I've been finding it hard to trust the quality of used tires lately.
