If we're able to do the fun river run, you can either park your truck, or I think there's a route that allows you to go directly across the river, instead of traveling down it.

By the "fun one" I'm referring to the one at the beginning of this video:

And the water not as high on this one:

The height of the second one is fine, but me being 4" shorter than you on ride height, I'm not really comfortable with that... Getting the interior a little bit wet is one thing, but choking an engine is something completely different...

As far as trails 'once I'm a definite' I'd say it would be nice to have some harder trails thrown in the mix, but I'd be down for some exploring too... Haven't ventured very far out of New England especially for offroading, so I'd do anything.

Hey Nick, any word on your attendance? I hope you're good to go.

Once I am a definite, I can honestly say that I am willing to try (almost) anything. I've never played in that kind of setting and I look forward to mixing it up a little and conquering more than sand, mud, and hills.

Just waiting for my boss to clear the days... he was out yesterday, but its never a problem to take time off. I really want to go and so does my girl, so once my boss say 'OK' were IN!

Plus I am going to have Mike bring me one of his bumpers there so I don't get killed on shipping, so the $$ I'm saving there will cover my gas for the trip down.

But I'll give you a definite later on. :excited:

Nice! That brings up another question... whos bringing a guest... and are they female?

Make sure the females know that we will be without facilities and showers for at least 48 hours.

Alright, its official, my boss cleared me to take that Friday and following Monday off. So I am deffinately attending and my girlfriend will be tagging along as well.

I'll be leaving Thursday sometime after work to be able to get out there for the earlier meeting time as well. Will figure out details soon, but that'll be my plan.

Now I just need to pick up a CB and a couple other things and I'll be good to go. Now should I pick a portable grill or will any of you other guys have em, that I wont have to bring my own?

Can't wait!! :flex dirty: :camping: :friday:

If I come the wife will be with me. The only real extra that requires is my chemical toilet will come along or some sort of place to sit for business.

I have two grills, I also have a portable CB that I will bring or can send with Mike if i dont make it.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

I'll have to :poke: the wife a little more into going... she's not crazy about two days in the woods with a bunch of smelly guys.

I'll have my grill with me, and I'm sure there will be plenty of others, so you can use mine if you'd like to Nick.

With all of the trail mods it sounds like will be going on I hope someone thinks about anything extra that might be needed to mount all of that armor. ;)

Anyone want to pick up my bumper and skid plate from Mike at TECORE and deliver to NJ on way home? Nick??? Not sure if you'll be driving through NJ, or if you'd even have room, but I could meet you along the highway...

I even have a portable grill you could borrow if you wanted to stop here on the way down... LOL

I was actually going to mention it... I'm sure I'll be traveling thru NJ, so we could plan to meet up on Sunday/Monday on my way back, depending on how late were wheelin' on Sunday.

Should have plenty of room, if not I'll strap it to the roof. SO if you need me to grab it for ya I'd be more than willing as long as you'll meet me somewhere convenient.

AWESOME! If you plan on traveling up 95, I can meet you at the first rest area north of Exit 7A... you wouldn't have to get off of the Turnpike.

The pictures from the trail are going to be really weird with everyone having an extra bumper strapped to the roof. We'll see how many branches we can snag with it.

Haha it would look funny... If I'm grabbin' Marios' I'm hoping to just be able to secure it in the rear with the seats folded down. Wont have too much stuff that will take up much room.

And I'll throw mine on when I meet up with Mike. Only a couple of bolts...

Bumpers do take up a good amount of space, I remember mine barely fit... but that had a brush guard too. Mario, if you're planning to modify the bumper any... maybe Mike could leave the wings unwelded so as to save space in Mike and Nick's vehicles.

Also, I think this is right... if not let me know.

I'm getting mine without the end pieces... but I will need the bumper put together.
