My hub to fender is 26ish, or was. Need to remeasure that one again. So 23 without body..minus stock 18.25 so 4.75 suspension??? WOW

That is a lot of lift  . Seems that upgrading the springs give a little more wiggle room than simply shimming. So if you are now running 88s, it's safe to assume that 85s or 86s would help out with front lift somewhere between where you are and where you started.

He's losing droop in the process. It may not matter to him, but it's still something to consider. Also, his maximum UBJ and CV angle haven't changed.

It's technically possible to do both shims and springs. He could probably add another inch by doing it.

Or maybe I will... :flex dirty:

I may drop it back down some, but figued itwas worth trying. I want ground clearance more than anything else. Our suspension is not exactly great offroad in any configuration.

Yep. Trying to get enough before just trashing it, but everything you do has an other side of the coin.

Well an update...

Was up just over 42 ground to fender and the cv angles worried me some, so i pulled out the outside strut spacer and it was down to about 41 3/8s. Then i beat the hell out of it offroad and I now have a height of 40.5ish. However it rides better and alignment issues are not as present. I may add the extra spacer back in now. Not sure, but everything seemed to work fine and no leakage or cv boot issues still. Mine are still stock with mo mods.

Mine settled in .5" after bouncing around yesterday as well. I think I'm ready to try aligning now, as I still have positive camber.

Mine have come down an inch so you may want to wait on the alignment. i have very little pos camber now.

Kyle and others that have upgraded their springs, just wondering what your running currently...

Did you put the Marks outside spacer back in? Whats your CV and UBJ angles look like currently? Flipped control arms?

I ask this because I have 87's on the way and am trying to figure the best configuration to run w/o having to break it all down multiple times, since TECORE is coming up soon.

I am running flipped without the extra spacer, but the spacer is going back in since the springs settled. Just waiting for my sciatic to calm down to reinstall. The angles dont look bad and it did fine wheeling it hard.

Awesome, thanks man! Thats exactly why I wanted your advise since you run Marks lift and take your Tb to the limit.

The angles did look pretty steep on the shafts til I beat the springs to settled. It seems they have not dropped any more, so I now feel comfy adding the spacer, but at first I thought it was too much. Just the outside spacer is easy to add later if you try without it til they settle.
