Bad news... I'm not going to be able to make it. Lots of work to catch up after my vacation and this week and next have lots of new things lined up. I am going to have to work nights and weekends so that I don't fall crazy behind.

I'll do my best to get out there... but it's not looking good right now... :(

:Iagree: I agree I had missed his more than generous offer somehow. Hopefully we get some people showing up.

The question isn't "who's still going?", but "Is Zero still going?"

Hahahaha yes, I am coming for sure. Too much money spent, and time invested not to make it out there. And I want my Barton Armor :viking: !! hahaha

Alek and I are finalizing stuff for our long drive. The truck is almost packed already. Trans cooler is in, tow hooks installed properly. So far so good.

Some maintanence done to be ready for it. Remounted roof rack since I am not finding the steel I really wanted for the rear tire carrier, but still hoping to get it done. Now i got to figure out what all is going and how it will be all loaded. I want to just skip work and get on the road.

FYI- I have to hit up a tire store 10 miles from harrisonburg since NO ONE had 34x10.50 17 Swamper LTB's and I need one. We are planning to get there fairly early in the morn to get it taken care of and should be ready around noon.

CC Rosen is where I got to go.

I hope he's able to come. I told him to post up here. Once he posts here, I'll add him to the list.

On a side note, I was able to test out the SPOT this weekend tracking the wife on a road trip of her own. Works fine! No dropped messages over 6 hours.

Hollllly crap I never thought about doing that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does the spot need a clear line of sight....must it be on the dash by the windshield, or could it be mounted under the hood or in the trunk?

Haha... she was heading into some areas of WV with no cell service. It gave me some peace of mind knowing she always had some form of communication.
