Well, crawled under it yesterday and found that the tailshaft has a crack in it. We bumped it just a bit when getting the old seal out last week. Apparently after a few heat cycles, the indention gave up and fluid starts slinging out of it at 40+. I sealed it with RTV to get by, so far it's holding. Cannot find a tail shaft housing, no one makes them. I'll either have to get another TCase or JBWeld that spot.

I at least got my light bar on last night, pictures will happen at some point.

Are you considering a 231 swap? I know the driveline are hurdles, but I think having a case that takes regular atf, and is readily available and serviceable out weighs them? Just a thought

It crossed my mind briefly, but really not worth it to me at this point. There are thousands of TCases out there from our platform for less than $200 and less 100k miles. We did some testing on mine over the past week and have been able to easily seal it with RTV since it is a low pressure point. I still don't like it being in it's current state, especially with TECORE coming up. The Autotrak II isn't overly expensive, at least, about $8/qt.

Cross referenced my front springs yesterday, factory 83s. They're giving way after slapping on all the armor and I'm getting some excessive rubbing on the rear of the front fender well under very mild articulation. GMParts shows 87s back in stock. Can't decide on whether to trim the fender down some more and get by until I can get a set of Radflos, or bite the bullet and get the 87s. The Bilstein HDs are still on backorder as well.

Difficult call. Remember, your spring cost isn't all sunk if you buy some new ones. There always seems to be someone willing to pay 70% or so for some slightly used 87 springs.

I've got a brand new set of 88's I'd let go for a reasonable cost. I was holding out for the Bilsteins to come back without paying $100+ from the guy on eBay, but got fed up with waiting and said the hell with it and bought a set of Radflo's for the second time.

Yeah, I thought it was madness when our French-Canadian Prime Minister switched us to metric about 40 years ago, but I'm used to ir now, and of course the younger generations have grown up with it, so it doesn't bother them. Finally got my trailblazer back after putting $1400 worth of upper and lower ball joints and tie rods and an alignment and the noise in the front end is still there and even louder even after it was at tire discounters ALL DAY! I am necessarily not the happiest right now

Check the control arm bushings and your sway bar end links, if you haven't already. The end links are notoriously crappy. $1400 is insane for some ball joints and tie rods, considering they're pretty easy to swap.
