Hello from Wasilla Alaska... The WIP (Wife In Progress) wanted a bigger vehicle than her Aveo, smaller than my big truck, better on gas than my medium truck and slower than my small truck, so we scored a fully loaded 03' EXT and now I'm here hahaha. I'm a Mechanic by hobby, profession and desire. Hard core off road guy. Built and wheeled with many amazing rigs. I've got a few projects I'm proud of that will never ever be truly done. Broke my first truck (71' K20) in half by landing it too hard. Got an 85' K3500 and built it up and painted it during the second half of high school. Than left for College than spent 5 years as a Machinist Mate on a Nuclear Fast Attack Submarine (SSN711). While stationed at PSNS in WA I built up a bada$$ Off Road Subaru that died in CA, and while in Sandy Eggo I built a scary fast 2wd EFI 6.7L 409ci 4speed S-10. Just recently came back home with my trophy girl and her Aveo. Picked up a 6.0L 3/4t Silverado than slapped together a small Toyota Truggy with Dual cases than became a dad............. Now I've got the SUV with the smaller motor, running boards and 3rd row seating hahaha. Anyway.... My plan is simple. It's her ride so I have to be convince her all these changes are for her safety. Fat tires to grip the road better, wider stance to not roll over and so on..... It's gonna pull the Toyota Truggy half the time and is a mild trail explorer and we like to run the dogs in the woods and just look cool in town with mud on the roof and a shiny winch cable once in awhile. Just ordered the MarkMC 2.5" Lift, 1.5" spacers, a set of 275/65R17 BFG AT's (31x10.8) and mega bright 80watt LED backup Light bulbs. Next is a tuff wrap around brush guard, My Spare Superwinch OX, Roof Rack, and eventually I'll be another guy with light bars. But I'll Retrofit in HID or LED Projectors first. Those yellow lights have to go. My next batch of plans arn't gonna happen fast or quick, but I'll get there. I'm a big fan of the search button and I'll only post up if I feel what I have to say is of relevance to the thread and is worth good conduct. As with the other forums I'm a member of. Good luck to everybody's vehicles, Projects and rides home.... I'll throw up a few pics from the top of my pile just because....

It took a few hours of communication to make those fit.... but when those wear out it's getting the 28" TSL's and a 2" or so coil spacer lift. Maybe I'll drop the subframe an inch also... I'll see what I do when I get there :drive:

Thanks.. I do what I can with what I've got. Looks like my future for the next few years of garage time is gonna be tough competing with the new man cub and momma bear. After I put on the necessary basics, lights and meaty summer tires I'll do my best to sneak in more during naps and such hahaha. I still need to rebuild the S-10's rear end before drag race season and build a flatbed and winch bumper for the Yota... But nothing's gonna happen until she gets better backup lights hahaha

we had an Aveo, neat little car, it just wasn't big enough for us.
We actually traded it for the TB.

Well, now you've gone and done it.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

Its easy to be blinded by the Aveo scene... its so powerful you may not only misspell things, but it will make you talk funny and cause your left eye to sporadically blink at such a rapid pace you think the sun is dying.

Thanks... I'm not done yet either. I have a few more dream builds I'd like to do. Even if it was just to build than sell. I just like putting cool stuff together and working out the bugs and making my cool ideas turn out sweet.
