Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

What did you do to your GMT today?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

After 4 junk yards we finally found a couple Trailblazers 2 cities over. Got a new fender for $48 bucks. Would'be been $40 if we had taken the smashed one in, but I didn't want it taken off until a new one went on. Looks like trail damage after all. ;)

I got all the hardware to put mine back on.

Did you just glue them back or did you do something else? I need to do that (or maybe just change them, since they smell like stale balloons)
This is an aggressive post. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate a post of this quality and depth.

At the shop installing my new front and rear suspensions:

Issues: One of the screws from the front strut mount broke, I have to wait until Monday to buy the part
Shocks Skyjacker N8030 bushing (button) does not fit the bracket I had to remove the bushing from the old shock and adapt it to the new one.

Here is some pictures

This is a pretty well documented "feature". It is one reason so many folks went with the BDS shocks at first. Most of us running the SkyJackers(and others) just put several washers on either side of the bushings to take up the slack. You should like those shocks though, they ride good.

Actually the problem was not add some washers, the pronlem was that the hole of the bushing was to wide for the bolt, but it is fixed
Thanks

What do you mean too wide for the bolt?

I do not know how to explain it but the button part of the shock has a bushing and like a metal tube inside the bushing, that metal piece is to big so when the bolt that holds the shock goes through the shock is still lose

Looks good! Now all you need is those tires and skids and you're ready for TECORE!

I know the finish doesn't necessarily change the load rating, but of the ones I've seen, the chrome finished ones were not stamped or rated for load. They were some sort of bling item for lifted show poodle H2s or something.

I hadn't seen a chrome one that was even stamped with a rating. Not saying they don't exist, just hadn't seen any. For some reason it just raised a flag in my mind - wanted to make sure they were rated.

Fought with power tools for awhile (need to get my air compressor back and buy some air tools) but got my Zone 2" body lift installed. I must say it is a nice kit, but their directions are horrible!!! Very poorly written.

Now for some new meats and some steel!
