Not sure what your looking for, but they have an SS rear end with 70k on it for $330. That is where I got mine.

Thank you! I will give them a shot.

Holy hell! Wish I lived near by, I would be all over that! That is an excellent deal. That's the average price of an 8.6 rear in this state!

So after I got back home I pulled the TB in the garage and got to work. I think I may have dodged a bullet. Upon inspection the wire to the pack seemed a little loose, also there was some water droplets on the end of the pack more then I would think should be if any. The electronic service tech in me smelled the end for the coil, yup burnt electronics. But I swapped the pack anyway and cleared the code and went for about a 10-12 min drive no codes and ran fine the whole time. With my luck it will come back at some point might as well pick one up as spare. Looking on rockauto I see six different models for my 08, any real difference between the others and the ACdelco D1935E?

Generally you're looking at cylinder 4. Water drips down from the cowl, falls onto the coil and eventually ruins it. It's pretty common. I seem to remember that the ACDelco is the way to go, the truck is finicky, like with the spark plugs if I remember correctly.

Hopefully that's all it is.... My P0306 turned into a full head replacement due to a stuck valve @ 74k miles which I swear was caused by loose intake manifold bolts.

Planning on redoing the front end tonight. Did get a P0014 code this week once, but cleared it and has not come back. Hoping its just due to needing an oil change.

Because of your mishap that you posted awhile ago I went and tightened the intake manifold bolts and some were quite loose especially the bolts closer to back of the motor. I am at just over 71k so I hope I headed off a head replacement. :angry whip: I do have power train warranty so I am covered if anything major happens  I did place order for the ACDelco part and new a plug just in case.

Does anyone happen to have a part number for the lower strut bushing on the lower control arm? Looking at Rock Auto's site, but can't find a Moog or other replacement. Figure I might as well replace mine.

Nevermind, think I found it: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinf ... cc=1432188

Also I think MOOG K200270 ... not 100% sure

This guy though

MOOG Part # K200269 Front Upper $15.17 this is for the upper control arm, 2 in a box.need 2 boxes to do both sides
MOOG Part # K200270 Front Lower At Shock $16.33 this is the lower mount for the shock that goes through the lower control arm

That is a way better price than the one listed on DB Delectrical's website. Guess I'll have too pick this one up instead. :thumleft:[/quote]

Just showed up, I'll be combining this with my big 4 wire upgrade, the new battery and new inverter. Eventually a second battery will go in the back. Should help out when I get around to getting that Engel.

The garage is helpful, doubly helpful is it's back in the high 70's this weekend.

Mine looks like that for over a year, a lot less squeaking after I replaced them.

Got the lowers of the truck today, still waiting on SummitRacing to deliver the back half of the lowers. Called them yesterday and they said they had just been shipped, placed that order back on Dec 3rd!!!!! :hissyfit:

Lowers are on the bench, ready to press out after dinner.

Planning on running the spindles over to my father in-law's shop to sandblast and paint

And here is brand new red Moogs upper control arm, because why not. Too much??
