Hey everyone. We've been looking over this forum for a while now and just joined up today. This is our new Envoy. Just won the bid on it from our insurance company. Going to pick it up Monday ! It's got a little damage in the right rear but should be an easy fix. The price was right, with low kilometres and it's pretty close to where we are.
The plan is to build what we've been calling "the off road adventure vehicle" . We love road trips, love to explore and see new things , but all of my trucks are lowered 2wd's and I want to keep my 2011 Silverado crew cab 4x4 shiny and dent free. So we decided on the envoy because I'm a GM guy, I wanted something fairly cheap, with good power and a smaller SUV. It was a no-brainer to go with the Envoy/Trailblazer!! Our new motto is ...I wonder what's over there, let's go there! So with the help of this forum we should be able to build a very capable off road adventure vehicle !
I'm Trevor and the A is Angie , my gf.
I'm an announcer at a radio station in the morning, in the afternoon I work at a body shop and on weekends I announce at everything from Roller derby to stock car races.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone and getting educated!

Announcer on a radio station? Is that the same as a DJ or host? Or do you announce the hosts?

Anyways, welcome to the site. Enjoy the build process.

Trail X, I guess it's the same as DJ or host . So many names for the same job.

Thanks for all the welcomes! We got the Envoy home last night, unloaded it and went straight down a gravel road , off into the ditch and thru a trail in the trees! Worked great, felt solid and now has many scratches from tree branches (that's going to take some getting used to)
