Im not so much new to the gm360 community but new interest in offroading has led me to here. I was around when the switch happened from the OS to Gmtnation and all that and was an active member. I look forward to getting back into the swing of things and im sure the mod bug will bite me again here soon. I have been reading over most threads learning and everything before i joined, so im up to date on most things but may have a few questions along the way. Thank you all for hosting such a great site and the HUGE source of information.

i have a 2wd w/o G80 locker. im looking to upgrade shocks and springs here soon and while its torn apart obviously put a lift in. I dont care much for the look of an unlifted trailblazer looks like a minivan, Im planning to lift it up then add either some armor or tires. I can get used tires very easily because i live in a very off road oriented town with a massive offroad park litterly in my back yard. (Windrock) so im looking to get more clearance, add some protection and then onto recovery equipment.

i havent done anything major to my truck yet, mostly simple electronic mods, HIDs, interior lighting, quad beams. and stuff similar. Now its about time to invest some money and do some real upgrading. Im a college student so money is tight but Ill get the ball rolling soon.

It's a lot of money to lift, armor and put tires on your car. Whats the difference?
