Smart move. HIDs are not worth the trouble. A retrofit kit will never give off the proper light, and it's frankly offensive to the rest of us driving around. The stock headlights are made for a coil filament, not an arc. If any of you are considering a conversion, read this first:

As for silverstars, they aren't a really good option either. They have short lifespans because their filaments are overdriven. They also have a blue color filter on their lens, which makes their light appear "whiter" but in reality it is lust blocking some light transmission and effectively reducing total light output (which is why their filament is overdriven, to offset the blue filter). If you're really looking for new bulbs, look for the high range clear bulbs like: Narva RangePower+50, GE Night Hawk, Osram Silver Star, Philips VisionPlus, Sylvania Xtravision, or Tungsram Megalight Premium. They are colorless bulbs and produce the maximum legal light output.
Sorry for the rant, just a pet peeve I've developed.

I don't know about "most" but it really depends on the situation. Sometimes 2+locker is better, sometimes 4-locker is better.
I think all of our 2WD members either gave up on their TB, or bought a heep.
