This is how much I had to cut with 265/70r17's. Most of the rubbing happened when backing up. Still enough fender liner to keep some salt / snow at bay. With spacers/adapters the side of your truck will still get covered because the wheels will stick out a bit.

I use mspaint, it is really easy.
Open it in paint, use the resize feature(by pixel) and use like 800X600 or something like that.
Save as a .jpg and then upload it.

I have got one that is even better/faster to resize the pictures all at once. For XP DL this and install. Part of there free power tools http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=211477
Then you can right click picture pick resize. Vista and Win 7 have this built in. Not sure about Win 8. I would make copies.

For what it's worth, I just got the first two TreadWright Guard Dogs in 265/70/17 for the back of my 05 EXT, and they fit like gloves and look AWESOME. I have a 3" front 2" back leveling kit, and although I was worried that the tires might rub the front of the skirt at first, it turns out the steel that the plastic is anchored to is easily bent by hand to hold the plastic away from the tire.

Now I'm just waiting on another paycheck to order the Ebay wheel spacers ($62) and two more Guard Dogs for the front.
