Hey guys (and gals?),

Just registered.....I've visited the site previously, but never really looked in to it too much. Saw refereneces over at Trailvoy.com.

We've got a '07 LT with about 63K on it. It's got the factory 18" chrome wheels on it and the factory running boards.....one good thing, I think it has G80 locking rear diff....but I'm not sure.

My wife and I have been talking about doing some mods for four-wheeling up north on the ORV trails here in Michigan. We enjoy outdoors stuff (biking, camping, kayaking, etc.) and figured we could add some four-wheeling to the list. Figured this is the best place to get info on setup and mods. Probably still won't be doing anything major in the next year or so, but I'm just trying to do some research.

Thinking about doing a slight lift and switching to black steelies with BFG A/T. I'm thinking clean and simple with an aggresive look. Won't be doing any super crazy off roading, but am interested in getting to know about the hobby and places to go.

My brother is a big Jeep guy and has done lots of mods to his Wrangler. We were talking about doing some trips together and what not, so that could be fun to.

Sorry for rambling......I have lots of questions, but will search the forums as much as possible.

Would love to make it.....but my brother and I are backpacking North Manitou Island that weekend......plus, I don't think my grocery getter would do too well on the trails...it's bone stock.

Welcome, just look for G80 on the sticker in your glovebox, if it's there you have it.
