The last 10 years I had a VW passat TDI. I great family car, very fuel efficient but..
Needed a new car, and now what? I' m working now 13km from home, so there no need for fuel efficiency. I don't care what my family want's, hi hi. So I wanted a car with FUN factor.
USA build, looking for a jeep?? British ride by land rover ?? Old Mercedes G model ??
Chevy trailblazer is not a common car in the Netherlands, but I saw one in my town and was hit by enthusiasm. Is TB a pretty car, I'm not sure. Then I saw a 04TB with 108000 km for a very good price. Since then I hit by lighting :excited:
What a car. Awesome.

Now I want to ride off-road, but first need some adjustments.
Ordered already 2,5 lift kit + spacers by Mark.
Needed shocks + struts and 32" A/T's.
I think that's a good start for a rookie like me.

This is a great platform, and make me very enthusiastic. It helps me already a lot, and hopefully in the future. I'm really Injoying it.

Awesome Rene, not sure what kind of parts or mechanical support you have locally for this platform but I can tell you this site and it's sister site have been a huge help to me. If you have a modest amount of skill and take the time to read and search much can be learned and repaired by yourself.
Cheers. :drive:
