I'm likely out. Waiting to start my new job, so more than likely unable to take the time that soon after starting.
I want to though.

TB lost all it's tranny fluid in URE saturday, hope it is not toast. Had to be pulled to the parking area and come back that night with a few friends and the trailer, got it home but haven't look at it yet. I'm out of commission for now anyway.

You might be sitting on a pole, but I doubt there is a flag involved. At least I hope not! Pics or you are just camping in a WalMart parking lot in Philadelphia....Which I have done...

Glad you brought it up!

Well, considering the original planned event in this thread fell through. So... I guess this is the appropriate thread for a spring 2018 camping trip!

I'm always a fan of early May or late April.

Where are you located? If we decide to get this thing going, we'll need to get our "Facebook Liason", Rob, to get a post up there in order to drum up some more interest.

I should be free sometime this spring.

What are other people's availability? Who is interested?

I'd love to, but the tranny has a front seal blown and it's just not in my budget to fix it until the fall. Too much going on this spring to get it going.

Josh, we have always met near Harrisonburg VA, and camped in the GWNF.

Theoretically, we could change it, but its difficult to find a network of public trails as vast in this area.

I'm listening...
started a new job in November, and can't remember if I'm eligible to take vacation at 6 months or 1 year. I'll try to remember to look up the policy when I get into work tonight.

That’s cool, plus y’all know the area from being there. That’s not undoable. Have to work out dates then. I have a big trip end of July. Running the KAT. So I’m saving a lot of funds for that. After dates are set, I’ll see where my funds are going to be.

I still need to get my truck back on the road following my swimming lesson, but a date set in stone may give me a bit more motivation to get this finished.

Depending on the date I may make it. Got some work to do on the new rig, yes new, well officially mine now rig. It's been sitting in my back yard for a while. The TB tranny is toast upon further inspection. I'm not going to fix it for a fourth time. I will part it out soon and get my new rig up and ready. Signed the title last Sunday, putting the TB down was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make, I love it and will always remember the good times! I was never gonna SAS it and unless I did that it was about to it's peak, it surprised a lot of people at non TB events, no one thought a soccer mom suv could hang with the jeeps more less leave them in the mud a few times! No more check engine light issues too! In 2 years it will not even have to be inspected anymore.

The new rig. 85 Dodge Ramcharger Royal SE
