Been a bit busy but thought I'd share a few pictures from the TB's first "adventure"

A few friends and I took a trip out to Ocracoke island for the weekend. Took the ferry out of swanquarter, was a great weekend!

Got a bit of rain sunday as we packed up but saturday afternoon - evening was one of the best ever.

My buddy brought his 200x chevy pickup. He had been busting my balls after I mentioned putting the lift on the TB "I'm not getting in that death trap of yours one of the wheels might fall off!" and "O you dont need those big tires my truck will do just fine on the beach"

O how I couldn't wait to get to the beach watch him struggle and finally come begging me for a tow haha

We stayed at the national campsite on the eastern side of the island, amazing spot would definetly love to go back and at $24 a night for up to 6 people / 2 tents / 2 trucks you cant beat that.

As much as I was hoping my friend would have issues out on the beach. I have to say as soon as I can over the dunes the sand got deep.... really deep. But aired down the tires a bit and the TB handled it just fine.

When it was time to leave, the exit back UP the dunes was challenging :o) Took a few tries to get enough momentum. Then I got to sit by with tow straps in hand watching my buddy make 20 / 30 attempts trying to get back up himself (he was dragging frame and his nearly bald street tires weren't helping) to my dismay he did finally make it over without help..... (DAM! lol)

Was a great weekend and I would love to go back.... hell if I could have found a job I probably wouldn't have left.... Man I love the beach.

Pictures incoming

On the ferry on the way to the island, probably the first time I've ever seen the roof of my truck...

A few nice jeeps on the way out as well

I think it was $40 round trip per vehicle if I recall correctly.

Tried to check but they seem to still be down after the hurricane.
