If you end up going, maybe we can meet up and Convoy down together as Josh and I are on your way.

I don't know if I'll be able to drive at that point. If I can drive I might bring my truck, if I can't drive I'll ride along with Matt. I should be along one way or the other.

Do you guys think rocksliders are a requirement?

No requirement but a plus, I did TECORE V without sliders and only one thing I couldn't do without possible damage to body.

Sorry to bail on you all, but I have been working to get approved to a PTSD in-patient clinic at the Battle Creek, MI VA hospital. I was originally scheduled to do it in September but due to finances I had to push it back. I did just get word that I will be in the program from September 28th through October 19th which certainly removes me from this trip. With any luck I expect to have a clean engine and functional front diff in my truck this winter and will be adding my name to the list for a spring run.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

Outstanding brother, I've had a pretty good fight with my ptsd as well. They don't have inpatient where Im at but we have a decent outpatient program and it's helped alot.

I think you can count me as a definite. I'm doing better every week. Going to try driving soon... the mother in law is taking me out to try and drive the Charger the end of next week.
If Moots doesn't take me as a ride along I'll drive my heap of shit.

Other than a tent and a cooler of food is there anything a gimp should bring for the weekend?

I don't want to miss out on another Tecore

I'm not entirely sure what's required for a gimp, but I'd recommend a CB, a stove (but you can prob borrow one or use the fire), a camera, and a camp chair - among other obvious camping related stuff.

Just try to be as prepared as you can, I see the trip somewhat as a test of self sufficiency, so just plan ahead for as much as you can!

Should be a gorgeous time to be up there.

I should have one or two handheld CBs extra with me if anyone needs one.
