I wish Cody was coming with Moots and I, we're gonna have to leave at 2 am. It'll be alright though. It's getting close and I can't wait. I need a few days away from this city.

James was crazy riding up through there at night... and lets not forget his rush to "catch the train" when we were leaving lol.

Getting excited, can't wait!

I just changed jobs so asking for personal or sick time would have been inappropriate by my own standards. Only down fall of this job is I never know if I have a full weekend off till Friday afternoon, and I only get to request vacation in the fall. Perhaps this fall I'll be able to swing it and can take a personal day and sick day if I need to. Lately I've been having to work Sundays, and even this Easter I have to head up to Maine. Oh well, I'll get together with everyone soon.

Its always about 20 degrees colder on the mountains. Plan for a 0 degree windy night. Days could be pleasant with an ocaisional 60 degree peak, but I highly doubt 70 in the mountains unless we hit some odd warm spell. For instance, I'm bringing my ski pants and ski coat as backups, in-case it gets really cold. Be sure that your cold gear is wind proof, as that's one of the biggest issues up there. It can get windy - especially on Friday night.

It was definatly the bag of Hostess powdered doughnuts James had.

I'm bringing enough porkroll for the whole class. Ever have that? I believe Rory and MDB had porkroll for their first time last TECORE.

I worked for DOT FOODS up till December of last year working in the warehouse and then transferred over to DOT Transportation which is the same company, but now I drive for them. ( Its literally more than doubling my old income) I carried all my benefits over with me and took a week of vacation last week too. If we take vacation January - March they pay us an extra $200/ week and couldn't really pass up free cash.

I have the benefit time available but I don't want to start off on the wrong foot with my dispatchers, they could make my life hell and so far I'm on their good side.

Good for you! That's a pretty decent company to work for, and they're definitely not going to lose business. I wouldn't want to jeopardize a great job like that in the Syracuse area, that's for sure!
