The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

I guess it could recharge a battery that's just BARELY not starting the vehicle, but has an otherwise good battery; but it's limited in current to whatever the cig lighter fuse is (10 amps, I think?), so it can't jump-start a battery that's flat or lost a cell or something.

Does it even work with our cig lighter, since we have the auto-off after 10 min.? I think it would work with the accessory outlet, I think it's always on. I know it won't charge a bad battery. Not sure if it's dead flat though. :work:

I actually didn't know that the cig lighter and accessory were on different circuits. I'm pretty sure all 3 of mine stay on all the time?

Anyway, same deal. If you leave the radio play without the engine on a little too long, it could help, but that's about the only scenario that I could see helping.

Auto-off only forces the dome lights off - the reading lights are especially forgotten. Maybe the vanity/visor lights. I forget the circuit at the moment. Auto-off is a BCM-switched function, and the CIGAR and ACC outlets have straight fuses to the battery.
