Swapping seat covers

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

I was wondering if anyone has swapped their seat covers (the factory ones, not those aftermarket covers that go over the original cloth/leather) and how easy it is to do it.

My drivers seat cover is getting worn out to the point that the leather on the left side of the seat is about to start ripping at a crease, so I was looking into swapping it.

My logic is that since I have the side airbags, plus what appears to be a not very common seat option (dark/light grey), it'll probably be easier to find the seats out of a wrecked truck, possibly with the airbags already deployed and swap the covers out, instead of trying to find a whole seat in perfect condition and having do deal with the wiring harnesses and whatnot.

If I can do this, but can't find the seat covers in the right color, it appears that I can still swap the covers with the 02 light grey ones, I'd just need to swap both pass/driver so they match, or I can try getting the covers when I go to Mexico in a month or so (highly equipped LT/LTZs were quite popular down there).
This is an aggressive post. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate a post of this quality and depth.

Find a good shop to redo the seats, I had a annoying third headrest in the rear of my Impala and had it removed for like $150. Full seat redo may be more but they can color match and maybe only replace what is worn out and not the whole seat.

:Iagree: My buddy had the leather seats in his Trans Am repaired. They only replaced the worn/messed up portions. Looked really good.
