Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

What did you do to your GMT today?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

That thing looks great Kyle. Looks really clean and functional.

I like the non-chrome wheels too. :thumright:

Kyle, I like the new wheels and tires. Like brent said, your truck never looked better. I always thought I liked the hood with the stripe and dip'd but now I think it looks way better without. Truck looks really clean and "finished" now.

Only 25 miles so far, but the wife actually noticed how quiet they were and commented on it. She said..."The tires are quiet, I see why you said you need new exhaust...its kinda loud."

So the tires are great...kinda got me permission to get the exhaust done.

  Now that's awesome.

Sometimes I wonder when I drive the TB after using the car for several days, if the Nittos are getting louder than the last time I drove it. But then I get passed by some lifted Jeep or Truck (see more lifted trucks than Jeeps here too), and I can clearly hear their tires over mine. So then maybe they aren't so bad.

I replaced my exhaust manifold. Steve, that heavy duty manifold is beastly! Thanks again.

There was also a complete motor swap on Hatchets truck this weekend!

Changed my motor mounts with Moots and James02. The passenger side mount was in bad bad shape. It's nice to be rid of that wicked vibration.

Was that the source of your rhythmic ticking?

My truck was to the point the dash sounded like a big can of change jiggling around. It fixed that, I haven't noticed the ticking lately. You're gonna make me go out there and check.

The mount had collapsed and tore, the fluid inside was leaking out everywhere. Moots has the pics.

I took out the PCM in my truck today to send it back to PCMForLess; it wouldn't have been so hard if all of my 10mm sockets weren't stripped...

Yesterday did oil, rotate, and replaced the upper shock bushings. More on that to come in the shock bushing thread.

I drove 950 miles to Chicago to pick up a free Yakima Warrior rack from a friend. Note the insect carnage coating my grill and bumper! Image
