Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

As God as my witness, this is the last time I am doing this.

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

Good grief... I need to come out to NJ to buy stuff. Apparently people there are pansies. I'd have told you to walk.

Na, just a bunch of slack-jawed yokels. I dig them out during the negotiating process. It's really easy to pay what you want if you know where to look around here.

Edit: just gave them an even closer look while putting them in the garage. Only one of them is chopped enough to raise a flag, so I only need one more which I plan to get anyway. Guess it was a good day.

Nothing special, but at least I am off-road worthy again:

:salut: thank you! I've found one but haven't picked it up yet. Other than being a little noisy, the chopped one isn't doing bad. Going to probably get the good one this week and order a matching fifth wheel from eBay.

Thank you :fro:

Ben, they are 17" wheels. Got them because the best tires I found around here were that diameter. Picked the wheels up for $75, plus a couple cans of satin black wheel paint.

Thanks, James. :finger:

Probably not happening until the summers end, Mario. But we can test whatever you need to when the time comes. I'm between 2" and 3" right now, but I want to get some protection, storage, and recovery gear first.

I like those silverado rims in black. I was looking at some soft 8s but with the black they look just as good and I might find them cheaper.

anyone know the backspacing on them?

I think they are 5-1/5". They are 7.5" wide. Exactly the size I was looking for. The Procomps I had before just stuck out way too far for my taste. And being able to find sets of these for ~$100 makes them a lot more attractive. I used Duplicolor Satin Black wheel paint. I don't like the gloss black look against a large sidewall and that color toned down the contrast. It also has a less than smooth finish, but less severe than a spray on bedliner.

thx man now take them back off and paint those rusty hubs :-)
When I was putting my lift on the other day I had to paint my hubs even though my center cap covers them up, couldn't stand it.

That just sounds like it will make that nut even harder to get off of the threaded CV shaft.
