I am going through the fun process of tracking down a misfire on #6 and stumbled across someone's post who noted upon going after the fuel injectors noticed the rear intake manifold bolts were only hand tight. Well upon playing the coil swap game a few minutes ago and throttle body cleaning, I figured I'd check mine since it had seemed rather noisy on the injector side of the engine. I said something the other day herby gf how I thought it seemed kind of loud for injectors and the misfire started in the touch less car wash after the under carriage wash.
I was able to reach the rear two bolts near 5 and 6 without going crazy having to remove the PCM out of the way. The bolt between 4&5 was maybe hand tight. I got at least 1-2 full rotations on the socket, and between 5&6 was even looser and got 2-3 full turns. No idea if this is going to cure my problem yet, but the rest of everyone might wanna check their intake manifold bolts.
