Anymore details? Is the passenger side tire not steering or does it flop around in different directions then what your steering in? details and pics if possible I know not exactly the thing to do at 2am.

The tire doesn't steer it moves side to side in a circle not laterally- I thought I broke the new lift design, the rod behind the cv axle closest to the fire wall snapped,

I think a combo of 36f and being stuck in mud and water almost froze it and when it hit it snapped

Tie Rod end is what you describe.
A new replacement you will need.

Where exactly does the tie rod connect to ? Into the frame work?? It's broken right in the middle :( pics at around 8 am when advanced opens at 730 then to get a friends Atv to carry all my tools out there, ima give Ron a call in the morning to see if he can help, but the area I'm in I'm in 2wd drive but there's two huge sugar sand pits you need to go through :(

Don't forget to bring a new tie rod. You won't get very far without one.

Maybe you're already out there, but when mine broke, it also took out the inner tie rod end. You'll need loctite to install the inner, unless you just do a temp trail repair. Posted about it. Good luck.

Yep, you'll have that...

FWIW, this is why you'll see guys with a really loose hold on the steering wheel, letting it flow through their hands, and just catching it every once in a while to guide the vehicle in a general direction...

I CONSTANTLY remind people on trail rides I'm in or leading to keep a loose hold, PLUS keep their thumbs on the outside. My wife's cousin dislocated a thumb in college by steering wheel backlash.

Also keep thumbs on the outside on the highway. If the airbag goes off, you'll probably break your thumbs.

No I just screwed up my whole passenger side it now sits 1" back toward the fire wall, and I'm scared I won't be able to get out of the trail how the truck is and on top on that when I started rolling I shreded a tire so had to walk back, I'm trying to get out Alice right now after this I'm RETIRED

Retired from what?

Your LCA mount simply got misaligned.

There are a couple bolts below the frame that squeeze the LCA mount. Loosen them, move your LCA forward, tighten, drive on.

What did you hit?

Don't get too discouraged it is going to take some work but there is very little a guy with tools and the right mindset can not put back together on trail. I have seen Guys drag welders on and pull broken axcle's weld them up and reinstall and make it home, or even rebuild rearends miles out. You have a fairly simple bolt together issue just relax deal with each issue as it comes up and you will be rolling in no time.
