if I recall 86s,87s,88s are all gone now unless you find some in the classifieds.
89's are too stiff unless you are running a steel bumper up front.
That leaves some of the Moog springs or skipping Mark's lift and going with the Radflo coil overs.

There is a lot of discussion on the Moogs

Did removeing your sway bars make you rock side to side quite a bit on hard turns in the city?

And how hard is it for a not so mechanical guy to flip the upper control arm.

flipping the UCA isn't too big of a deal.
The hardest part to me about flipping the UCA is getting to the bolts.
Remove the fender liner.
unbolt the upper ball joint, unfasten the brake line.
Then you have the two rear bolts. Most have to cut inner fender with a sawzall in order to get to them.
remove the two bolts holding in the UCA switch sides(and flip them) and re-install.

The rear is useless and only robs you of ground clearance, remove it entirely.

The front is a trial game. I would suggest that you unhook it and zip tie it up and out of the way. Drive it around for a while and see what you think. I have heard some people talk about how it was to much and they didn't like it. Me personally I have had no trouble with it at all. You have to take corners a bit easier, but other then that it handles pretty decent.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

Dustin, your build says you flipped your UCAs with no lift. Why would you do that?

Because I planned on having the lift around Christmas time... Then again at the end of January... Then yet again the beginning of this month... But it seems like every time I get ready to order it, my fiancee breaks something.

I will be ordering it soon though, come hell or high waters

gotcha, I think most wait until they are in the process of doing the lift (or after) to flip the UCAs. I expect it has affected your alignment. You might want to keep a check on your tires until you get one.

Yeah, ball joint is pushed quite a bit forward. I planned on flipping them back when I rebuilt the disconnect but needed it back on the road ASAP and I was just flat out tired of being out in the cold. Might try to flip them back this weekend since it'll be summer before I can install a lift

keep an eye on the classifieds, sometimes lifts hit them reasonable.
Then again if you have already modified the fender well it shouldn't be a huge pain to flip them back.

I like what you have done to the wheels, I think the way you did it makes it pop more than all black.

Karsten which axle is it that you went with? I checked your site but it doesn't appear that you've updated it in a bit.

Agree, I have upgraded to the 8.6" from the TB EXT. I already have corrected that in the built thread.

Thanks buddy. I haven't done much to it lately. Hoping that will all change now that I have a proper shop to work in. No doubt I'll keep it up to date.
