I'm still liking the way your rear bumper guard looks, does it just bolt on or does it need to be welded?

What bumper guard are you talking about? JD has a custom rear bumper now. Maybe give a link to the pic you are talking about.

I had an old WAAG rear bumper guard that bolted on. I think I bought it through 'everythingSUV.com' or something.

Yea sorry kinda vague. I was referring to the old WAAG bumper, I love his new custom one, but it's currently a bit beyond my skills.
The problem with the Trailblazer is, people think you know what you're doing.

JCrayton...make sure to throw up a sound clip of that new exhaust with some details on what you went with for parts. Looks like a pretty loud set up.

Ya. Its going to be loud. I had just one glass pack on there replacing the stock muffler, no resonator, and cut just past the axle where everyone cuts it. That was terrible. Horribly loud and could barely stand to have the windows closed. Hoping that the second one with the resonator tip and having it stick out past the bumper will quiet it down some in the cabin. Gatta grab a couple parts tomorrow that I screwed up with and it should go right in. Ill post a video (read: attempt and most likely fail to post a video) of before and after tomorrow when Im done.

DirtyD, loving your build. I noticed your rims have 4.25 BS which should stick out a good bit. Can you post a pic from the front or rear either here or on your build thread so we can see how much they stick out? I noticed the soft 8's and D windows on summit racing all run about 4 inch backspace which would be similar to what you are running. Best I can figure your new wheels stick out about 4 inches more than stock, it would be interesting to see a shot of how much they stick out.

Yes I will get some pictures up for everyone later today. I was a little unsure about the backspacing at first, it took a little while to get used to. I'm very happy with how it sits now.

Mine are the summit D windows. They stick out ~ 4 " outside the fenders. I think I have photos in my build thread.

Dirty Anton the exact shocks I am using in my build. So nice. Any issues on road with police? Mine will hopefully be done this week.

police officer said if I had flares I would be less likely to ever be pulled over at all even tho in MD there is no flare law unless you are a commercial vehicle. No ticke, but he could have got me for bumper height and maybe frame height.

Ill bet you are taller, my front springs are flat. I know with 40's I measure 25" from the frame to the ground. I only have a 1" body lift as well.

Wasnt paying attention on my phone and actually posted this on his build thread.....

MikeKey: If I end up with a roof rack, I plan on mounting shovel, axe, etc., the same way, except I would suggest not storing it there all the time. You dont want to give some low life a tool to bust out your windows. Plus it will help keep your tools from rusting.

I don't store them there all the time. The rack is actually empty, but I had them on for photos and they'll be on for my upcoming trip.

Good deal. Only said it because I saw a truck the other day and thought of it then too.

I'm not even too keen on leaving most of the lights and rack on the car during the week, however we have a car port and my wife works as a DOD contractor and since she is the one driving it, not to many dummies are going to rip stuff off a truck parked in the Federal building parking lot.
