This isn't exactly Land Rovers where you already know you'll need deep pockets, they are worth every penny for the job they do, but if you don't mind how the stock system rides you can rebuild it 5-6 times for the cost of one set of radflo's. You will have to keep your truck 20+ years for the radflo's to realistically pay for themselves, they are a luxury item.
Eh... $200 for the lift kit + $140 for Bilstein HD struts + $110 for 87/88 springs makes $450 if you haven't lifted yet. Being the first set, I got mine for just shy of $900 shipped. Double the money, but frankly, they are worlds better, and even safer on the street. Even the Bilstein HD aren't valved for the extra weight and leverage of bigger tires on spacers (though I'm interested to hear impressions on the Rancho struts), and even with the 87 springs, the thing would bounce and slide over on mid-corner bumps. That completely went away with the Radflos, not to mention that they're much better off road. Worlds better on fast gravel roads!
It's really like the difference between Ohlins vs. stock on my bike. Suspension is one of those things where a person's impression of "good" suspension is based on the best suspension they've personally rode/driven. It's one of those things where you don't know what you don't know. I'd definitely do it again, if that says anything!
