I was in the Stealership 2 weeks ago and out of interest I asked if the could order me pair of 89s. The guy said they could get a set shipped in from somewhere in Michigan in a couple days.

Left 6DF = 85
Right 7DC = 84

In call with dealer, the 87, 88 and 89s were available to be shipped to CA from MI on 4 days' notice.

Looking to go up to 87s - the price quoted was $76 each, 40 bucks cheaper than the 84's at $116.

So on right side, from an 84, that would be 14.6mm strut lift = .57 in. strut lift = .84 in. wheel lift. Sound right?

Wow, I haven't seen anyone with anything higher than 84s stock. Interesting.

Your numbers sound right overall, keep in mind it will probably look like more at first, and settle in as less later.

So on a off note, when looking in my rpo codes for my xuv it says that I have 6ad, and 7ad, I have not be able to find them in the list anywhere at all.

Also on a note. I ran 89's for about 6 months while i had my ext trailblazer. they ran good, but there are some down falls in my opinion. It did support the add weight of all the armor and the winch, but also was breaking more things then I should of. in a 6 month span, i went through 3 struts on the front. 2 brand new wheel hubs, and in the end, i was driving down a back pave road with a spot for water to cross, well i hit it and got a little air, and i snapped off my passenger side diff. IMO 89s dont work well. its not that they are to stiff, but the force that they have is to mush and breaks things.

Wow no there not broken, but was putting it up for more of a point of why are then not on the list, maybe we should or even could add them to the list. And the most of the only list

I am thinking you are going to have to go look for the tag on the spring because as stated in this post the springs where chosen during production and likely different side to side to level SUV.

RPO codes do not always directly translate to part numbers. Juts like you can't walk into a GM dealer and walk out with a "G80".

I tried looking for the tags and I don't see any. It looks like the dealer might of even painted the underbody to make it look better.

you can pm me your VIN but I believe a VIN decode will just bring up the same numbers you came up with. I'll give it a shot though
